Shipping policy
1. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping
We are pleased to offer Free Standard Shipping on all international orders over $50 USD, regardless of your delivery location.
- For orders under $50 USD, a flat-rate shipping fee will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
2. Trusted Carrier & Origin
All Gündem orders are shipped directly from our studio in Turkey via DHL We choose DHL to ensure your high-quality items are handled with care and delivered with speed.
3. Processing & Tracking
- Processing: Most orders are prepared for shipment within 2 business days.
- Tracking: You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a DHL tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking status to update.
4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (DAP)
Gündem ships on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis. This means:
- Buyer Responsibility: Customs clearance, import duties, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Documentation: We provide all necessary commercial invoices and documents required for customs. If your local customs office requests additional information, please contact us at hello@gundem.cc and we will assist you immediately.
- EU/UK VAT: Please note that VAT may be collected by DHL upon entry into your country, depending on local regulations.
5. Delivery Timelines
Delivery times vary by destination and the time of year. On average, you can expect your package within 1–3 weeks from the date of your order.
- Note: Delays may occur during peak holiday seasons or due to local customs processing, which are outside of our control.
6. Address Requirements & Restrictions
- No PO Boxes: DHL typically requires a physical signature for international deliveries. Therefore, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO).
- Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are correct. DHL requires a valid phone number to contact you regarding delivery or customs payment.
7. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to Gündem because it was refused by the customer, customs duties were unpaid, or the address provided was incorrect:
- The customer will be responsible for the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees or "abandonment fees" charged by DHL.
- These costs will be deducted from any eligible refund.
